Featuring the Astral Shelving Wall Elements by American graphic designer Dan Friedman, this poster showcases the impact the postmodern New-Wave movement had on this artist. To Friedman and artists like him, Postmodernism represented the rejection and active defiance of the fundamental principles of modernism. In this work, space is used to convey Friedman’s playfulness and how he used the components of each piece to create a sense of unpredictability, motion, and suspense.
